America Bless God!

This photo is post Brooklyn Naval shipyards 1977.
Notice that the 3" 5Ø's (gun turrents) are gone and the helicopter hangers are there instead.

The Savannah was my home from January 1975 - July 1978. This page is meant to cover the this period, if you were on the Savannah any time prior or after check out the official site at this link USS Savannah. The Official Savannah web page has more pictures and a guest book to sign.
Feel free to look around and leave your comments.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your visit.

Some of my photos have seen the wear of time, so if you have some from the same time period that is in better shape please email them.
There is a form at the bottom of the page if you would like to fill it out.

Above is the ships crest. I bought this plaque off ebay sometime back.

This picture was taken on my last Med Cruise in 1978 by PC3 John Guzman.
